It’s really looking like we’re just going to stick the best batting lineup we can out there and hope the defense isn’t an Achilles heel

Yea for sure. If Braswell comes back I will be less worried. Dickinson would be a cornerstone & I think with Beck would put your offense in a decent spot. They really need to land him.

They definitely seem to be recruiting as if braswell is back, despite what t14 is hearing

Not if they are telling Dickinson he can play SS if he comes.
However I do know Braswell is in BR right now. So it’s not like he is 100% sold on the draft. I feel like if he was sold on it then he would have stayed home when he went after the season was done.

Feels like we need to get Fountain and the young Pearson a role even if it’s splitting time at DH (if they are good enough). That would give us potentially Milam, Brown, Larson, Curiel, Fountain, and Pearson all with SEC experience going into 2026. Obviously if we land Arrambide that would be icing on the cake. Then you are a stud portal addition and a couple freshmen in 2026 away from doing damage while constantly getting young guys in and getting them experience.
I dunno how 2025 works out for us in the end, but the experience will pay off. We saw what lack of sec experience did to us this year and we will have even less in 2025. Thankfully most of the top SEC teams will be worse off in regards to experience so we have a chance in 2025.

Von Rosenburg too. The BR kids have all really wanted to play at LSU. There's always a price though... Although maybe the personal finances really are that significantly different,, especially considering those were public school kids versus Catholic. I mean there are actually people to whom that draft slot money isn't life changing money if they already live that life. Who knows...

I don’t read into that too much. LSU has some of the best facilities and trainers in all of baseball. Hell Tommy White is still around BR.

That’s why I mentioned earlier I thought I read Schmidt came from money somewhere, wasn’t sure if I’m getting that confused with another situation though.

Maybe. I was looking at it more as they’re recruiting as Kuch was going to be the SS. Think that threw a wrench in the plans
I think Brassy has a decent chance to come back. It definitely looks better than it did a week ago. I just know the coaches are expecting him to sign
