Everybody wants Grahovac. Hopefully Jay has west coast ties to where he's from. I know we have ties to Jace. I don't see any connection to anyone else of note.

I’d pump the breaks. The portal closes July 2. Best for the A&M guys to get their name in the portal and then see who is hired.

Once a coach leaves a school the players have their own 30 day window to leave regardless of time of year, correct?

I believe a head coaching change gives an automatic 30-day transfer window, separate from the standard portal.
That said, most players should go ahead and put their names into the portal after a change just in case they want to use it. They can always take their name out but this at least gives them options.

But the sec rule is July 1st without sitting a year for spring sports. I don’t think the 30 day rule affects the sec rule.

2020- Covid Free Year
2021- No Stats redshirt
2022- Columbia
2023- Columbia
2024 - A&M
So he only played 18 games at Cyroess college.

I found an article related to Oklahoma and Texas football transfers and it said they had to be in the portal by Jan. 2 in order to be immediately eligible at another SEC school. There were two exceptions: postseason play and head coaching changes. Assuming the same rules apply to other sports, both A&M and Texas players should have the full 30-day window under the head coach exemption.
