Also on that interview of Joe Doyle was talk on Stanfield. He said something to the degree of “if I was a Tiger fan I would be most excited about this guy. He is probably a 3-5 rounder but could move into the top 50 picks next year if he adjusts his swing and gets the ball in the air and shows more power”

He seemed to think he would make it to campus.

Also here is more info for
Summer league on Stanfield.

He is hitting leadoff

Interesting. I’ve always like the kids talent. Don’t understand the people groaning about taking him.

Fidel Ulloa is pitching in the MLB draft league this summer. Doesn’t mean hes not coming back, but it’s a very good place to be seen by scouts.

Ulloa probably will sign if he gets drafted and probably will get drafted somewhere around where Little and Coleman went last year

Yeah he compared him to Braswell a lot. Said if we can tweak him like we did Braswell and extract a bit more out of the bat the rest of him is a 1st/2nd round type of talent.

Did say he thought Braswell should come back and try and show more power otherwise he still probably is only signing for not much this draft...granted he loses any leverage by doing so. Did say Braswell is obviously not a SS at the next level, 2B, but needs to have power develop more if he ever wants a shot at the bigs.

I wonder how many A&M recruits will jump ship. Jordan is on Wyatt Sanford their top recruit, but he is probably a draft casualty.

I dunno if it was just me but after listening to that guy on the podcast I was a lot more optimistic about some of our guys coming back and some of the recruits actually coming to school. I’m starting to get excited for February!!!

Joe Doyle

It sounds as though there is going to be a mass exodus from the Texas A&M baseball program. Kaeden Kent, Gavin Grahovac, Max Kaufer and a few others have already entered the portal. There’s more big names coming…

Do we think they are just heading to UT or could other programs like the one in Baton Rouge, La. be in play for any of them?

But I was told they weren’t going. Again, when the dust settles and the hurt feelings go away, guys will follow.

Lots of these guys are big on Nolan Cain
