Haha is that why Tennessee went to hand signals? That’s Busch League if they stole that.

Pretty wild that Schloss had the balls to accuse other coaches of cheating all year and then pull some shite like that

Everything Doyle said re: Jones mirrors my own feelings. Jared's biggest hindrance is he's a 1-tool player at the moment. No idea if this is on the table, but I think his best long-term play would be to return to LSU and prove he can be a serviceable catcher. Catch 3 games a week and 1B/DH the other.

Is Hogg a guy that would stick at SS? I don't know anything about his defense.

Often times these SS out of high school get moved. Also, if he a switch hitter?

Doyle said more of a 3B on that podcast.

Seems like often times it's the ones throwing the loudest stones. I don't know what is true, but Schloss comes off as very unlikable to me.

Said he was another 50/50 guy, has a ton of power and can see him starting at 3rd or 1st if he makes it to campus.

He also compared Pearson to Tommy White.

Hopefully Pearson is more athletic than Tommy. Tommy might have been the slowest player I have ever seen.

Hopefully he sucks in this summer league
In his first two games he is 0/8 with 6 strikeouts and has committed an error in 4 chances at SS.

All things considered, if he's a carbon copy of Tommy White I would sign up for that right now

I've heard John Pearson is sneaky fast for his size. I believe he was even playing CF in HS.

They’re almost the same age so it makes sense

Doyle said Pearson has quick hands like White and tree trunks for forearms.

Hogg lacks some athleticism and speed for SS. Hits well enough that he could start at 3B as a freshman and hit in the 6hole with Curiel leading off. Followed by Stanfield, who he loves.

Only briefly mentioned Fountain.

Jay Johnson has to be licking his chops right now with the Schloss to Texas rumors. Go get LaViolette. You have to imagine a lot of them will hit the portal.
