Pretty good spot for him, they should be turning over alot, he may be able to crack that lineup. And of course a solid program

This crop of Jay's portal exits might actually have a player or two that really actually does something at the next stop. The last 2 years prior to this one we really havent lost anyone who was any good seems like.

I’m guessing it’s an OF since we are pretty set there with Pearson, Brown, Stanfield, Curiel, and Larson. I doubt all 5 end up there in 2025 (draft; move to 1B or 2B), but that’s not considering incoming freshmen.

Other than Kilen we haven’t obviously been attached to any other bats near the top 20 (at least not per 64 analytics)

I was mainly thinking of his comment about “If nothing comes out then we didn’t take”. Why would we turn down a top 20 pitcher?

Literally one of the major issues with this years team. We had a few elite arms that couldn’t command. See Hurd.

Sounds like mayers from his post. Some will like and some won’t. As we see already. He is a top 20 or was. But may not be a take due to control issues. We need arms, so unless he wants a guaranteed weekend starter role you take.
