New 2023 RHP out of Georgia on the radar: Luke Wiltrakis. His PG profile shows him as a 3B, so I’m wondering if he just popped up as a pitching prospect.

Konnor Griffin at the box tonight. Hopefully the atmosphere was what he wanted to see

New JUCO RHP on the radar: Jorden Sesar from Bucks County College in PA. Mid 90s arm, two way player in JUCO so potentially more development meat on the bone.

I don't know that it will affect anyone in this incoming class, but Mississippi State just fired their pitching coach.

Foxhall is, or was, highly regarded. Seems like a Hail Mary from Lemonis.

Yeah, this tells me the honeymoon after the championship is pretty much over though.

I didn't think any SEC teams would turnover coaches this season, but you never know.

I wonder if Van Horn retires. A lot of Arkansas fans mentioned Wes Johnson replacing him and seemed to hint it could be sooner than later. Idk just thinking.

Yeah their talent level has just seemed to dip way down from where it was previously for most part.

They have given up at least 10 runs in more SEC games this year than they havent which is just a very losing proposition. Foxhall was national asst coach of the year just 2 years ago.

Definitely seems like a blame game move from Lemonis.

Their recruiting coordinator used to be considered the next big thing. I don't think he's going to be as in demand as he thought as a HC.

I don't know what kind of major college jobs might open up this offseason, but Gautreau won't be getting one of them.

State has almost a 10 team ERA in SEC play. I’m not sure Lemonis had a choice here.

I still like Gautreau and Cheesebrough. I never really had a thing for Lemonis. He rode McDonnell forever, then took over 2 programs already on the rise. He got out of Indiana real quick. He might get out Starkville real quick, too.

Both positions are in need of bodies, so it's very difficult to project that right now.

I really like him as a pitcher. But, agree, he's definitely good enough to look at in the infield.

I'd imagine he will be treated exactly the same as Guidry is this season. Capable of both and lets see where we will need you.

do you think our recruiting efforts this year will inform us on jay's vision for Guidry's future position, as well as on JT's decision to return or not (JT coming back is unlikely but we have seen stranger things)? thanks

Saw josh Jordan following him
No longer showing up as a commit on PG and nothing on Social media

I don't for similar reasons to what I said about Seo. Both spots are need positions.

And I think Thompson is going pro and should go pro.

I saw Jordan following him and yeah it looks like he may have decommitted.

If somehow we pull him, it would give us an unreal number of top 10 2024 guys. I still wonder how likely he would be to get to campus anywhere.
