Tony Bullard from Arizona is in the portal. Infielder. He was very outspoken last summer about Jay leaving and guys following him. I don't expect him to be on the radar.

Knight is appealing. Not so much for Bullard and Brown. Just my opinion. Pineda is a good target.

I doubt Morgan plays this summer. He didn't play most of last summer, if I recall correctly. He has been fighting injuries for awhile, which take a toll in other areas. I think he just needs to take some time to rehab exclusively, low impact, chill out, hand-eye stuff, etc. We need him 100% next year.

Went to go watch Southlake Carroll HS in the 6A semi this afternoon and lucked up in to seeing Griffin Herring start the bump.
Hit the driving range before, so got there during T2.
Only 23 pitches in first two innings. At one point think he struck out 5 or 6 in a row. He had a no-no going in to the 5th (think it was 5th and not 4th) and gave up hit to second batter of inning and followed that up by striking out next 2.
FB sat 91 - 92 and change up was 83-84 from same arm slot. Walked by Jason Kelly on concourse when moved to get seat in shade. Heard one of SCHS parents say CJJ was there also.
He had moxie, was a fiery competitor, and seemed to take it personal the few times he gave up a hit (think ended up with 4 or 5 on stat line). Don't know how many total Ks, but swear it had to be 10 - 15. Seemed like he was striking out 4 out of every 5 batters the entire game.

Herring is one I have very little doubt will be in school. This class is a lot deeper and more talented than just the top 100 kids!
