I bet he goes to the portal for a starting pitcher regardless of who we sign
Portal or JUCO would be a strong possibility, we will need some experienced pitchers. I wouldn't be surprised if the entire weekend rotation is not currently on the team. At this point anything could happen but Kennedy is a freshmen I could see making it to campus and starting day one.

I think we have 4 JUCOs committed. I think Nate Ackenhausen has a good chance as well. There should be options.

We will probably start seeing more portal entries within the next week or so. LSU has finals this week, I would guess a lot of schools are similar.

Here’s Jacob Misiorowski. Sitting 95-100 mph according to the tweet. Would be so nice to see him get to campus.

Unless the mlb guys want to see him pitch in the sec he’s prolly gone

If control is an issue he may well make it to campus

I’ll look him up, thank you.
ETA: I'm not finding any publicly available information showing him as a commit.

Just heard that Kade Anderson co 2023 had TJ a few weeks back. Great kid, dominated HS, and was a rising star on summer circuit. Silver lining is that this may increase his chances of getting to campus.

Kid can play. Dominant on the mound. Back to back years St Paul has lost their best player to TJ surgery. Hope he recovers and thrives at LSU.

Wow, the Anderson kid might not be back until this time next year.

There is first round buzz for Robby Snelling now too. One of the perfect game guys tweeted that he’s heard multiple people say Snelling goes in the first.

Again, always found it funny how much people talked him up at events just for all the rankings to not even mention him.

Probably because he didn't really participate in the amount of events other kids did so he got overlooked a bit. Now that it is crunch time getting close to the draft, they see what this kid is doing. Saw on twitter he broke the Nevada high school K record for a single season. Don't quote me on it but I think it was 142 or 145. Something around there. Knew it was a long shot to get a mid 90s lefty on campus.

I haven't put an update of the Prospect Live rankings in a while. Went look at it this morning and here is what was updated on May 2.
Player - Last Rank (Updated Rank)
Jacob Berry - 16 (22)
Justin Crawford - 34 (30)
Mikey Romero - 14 (34)
Cade Doughty - 20 (41)
Tucker Toman - 63 (43)
Brady Neal - 92 (89)
Gavin Guidry - 84 (96)
Paxton Kling - 60 (97)
Robby Snelling - NR (99)
Jaden Noot - 72 (105)
Jacob Misiorowski - 207 (106)
Chase Shores - 99 (107)
Michael Kennedy - 115 (134)
Ty Floyd – 183 (233)
Jared Jones - 198 (262)
Eric Reyzelman - 281 (280)
Aiden Moffett - 249 (328)
Gavin Dugas - 314 (388)
Brayden Jobert - 327 (399)
Edit: Remember that these are rankings. Not necessarily mock draft. So just because someone like Romero moved down to 34 from 14 don't mean they don't have a team looking for a young SS that will take him in the 1st round.

I saw two mocks today that had Tucker Toman going at the end of the first. Neither had Romero. Toman has seemed to leapfrog Romero in several prospect lists.

Toman seems to be significantly more signable, so that will make a difference in mocks and even rankings.

Good point. He keeps popping up in the first round of mocks, guess we can figure he will sign.
