We'll know about Noot, Young, and Jobert pretty soon. Deadline to sign is 8/1. I wish something would break sooner.
I'd think Skenes will be no longer than a week or so. He'll need to get the ball rolling as far as moving, classes, etc. I guess he could really push it into mid August, but I doubt it.
The roster should take its full shape in the next week or 2 so they can prepare for fall ball.

I think we’ll know more in the next week - according to a source

Just going to throw this out there, I wouldn't be too surprised to see him go back to Air Force. I've said several times that I wouldn't just lock in on LSU, Miss St, and Arky as destinations. I think he's seriously considering at least another handful of schools. I also think he has some really good roots at Air Force, and staying there does absolutely nothing to hurt his draft stock.

It does though because it forces him to fulfill a service requirement that clubs won’t want to deal with. After Mitch Harris pitched for the Cardinals I did a lot of reading on this topic. I’m not going to get political here but one of two baseball related decisions trump made that hurt baseball was to reinstate the service requirement for academy athletes that previously got waivers due to their pro prospects. I’ve been drinking tiki drinks since I got off work so I’m a little foggy on all of it, but Skenes transfer is absolutely a baseball move because the Air Force Academy couldn’t accommodate.

I haven't been drinking tiki drinks, but I didn't know that anyway. Makes perfect sense, though. Regardless, he's a Tiger now. LFG.
