Herring may be my favorite most realistic pitching recruit that could make it to campus.. Very excited about him as well as the others.

High school stats usually don’t. There is some kid in class B baseball hitting .500 with a couple homeruns. Probably Has to walk on at LSUA.

Stats like that at a really high level league has to mean something. Like I said, I think he is maybe a little less polished and older, which is hurting him in the draft. PG has him topping out at 90, but a scout on his Twitter had him at 94. Not sure if that’s accurate or not

That 90 mph on PG is a year ago this weekend. It’s not crazy to think he was picked up a couple mph especially being 19 now. The answer is probably somewhere in the middle.

I saw a top 600 list and neither Herring or Bronzini were on it. Signability?

I'm excited about both those guys, but neither are getting the high ratings. Anyone have thoughts on why?

I think if Romero or Guidry make it out of day one, they will be on campus.

The rest of the signing class, Pineda, Carter and Tebrake I won't feel good about making it to campus until after round 5.

Jobert, Gervase and Reyzelman I will have to wait out the entire draft until I feel good about them making it to campus.

Don't really think Pineda and Young are risks IMO
Tebrake is a risk for sure

He’s trippin. I went to one of his games bc my nephew might go this his school in Texas and he is dominate. I was prepared to just get herring and Kennedy and just fine with it.

I feel we can afford to lose Jobert with all the bats on the team. I hope we retain one of Rey and Gervase

I mentioned before that If I'm Jobert and I'm drafted anywhere, I'm gone.

Unless he ups his batting average he will have a hard time finding playing time on this team.

Our roster is going to be awesome next season. Today is the day that it starts to become cement. Exciting.
