I never pulled him from our list because he never said he was decommitted. Even when the speculation was that he was wavering, the stories coming out from Team USA and his social media never seemed like he was uncommitted.

It would probably be as miraculous to get him on campus as it was for Crews, though.

Jaxson Burch is moving back to Louisiana and is going to attend Central H.S. (Wonder why he isn't going back to Denham). Anyway he announced on his Twitter: Tweet

Thought some may want to know.

Cain always liked to lock up high profile catchers very early.

If it plays out for A&M like it did for us, I wouldn't sweat this.

He will never play college ball. Great pickup by Nolan.

Merrifield can play just about anywhere and play well, and his consistent hard contact/quality AB's will be hard to keep out of the lineup.

Never know with the Barbe players
Some use the leverage to go pro
Some go to college and do well and some go and have avg college careers

The one they really missed on was Jack Walker
Have no idea how he's doing at MSU but he was a three pitch pitcher in high school that is rare and pounded the zone

speaking of Barbe kids, do we think Gavin Guidry gets to campus? He feels like he wants to be there...just curious if anyone was closer to that situation

No idea with Guidry
He plays SS and RHP, not sure what MLB projects him as, likely an INF
He has been to all the high level scouting events

I think he gets to campus. Especially if Nussmeier is still here.

perfect game has us as the number one class for 2022. 11 players in the top 100 and a 10.15 avg per player.

The only other team close is Vanderbilt that has 10 top 100 and 10.78 avg per player but has 2 less recruits.

I don't think we're done looking for arms for the 2022 class, especially in the JUCO ranks. I know other SEC schools aren't either. Mississippi State just picked up a HS commit from Florida that was previously committed to Stetson but just blew up throwing 96 a couple weeks ago.

Mic Paul and Gavin Guidry are they pitchers or position players at LSU?

Likely both position players, if I had to guess. I don't know a ton about Paul, but I think Guidry would be closer to a two way guy.

We may have picked up another juco commit, but the guy I’m thinking may have committed has a private Twitter account

ETA: the kid I’m thinking committed is Jacob Misiorowski from the KC are and juco powerhouse Crowder. Only threw a few innings last year due to injury but is considered a very high end prospect. Originally committed to KState out of high school before opting for JUCO.
