The craziest part is Leah thinks she works hard.

If she cared about the job and knew college baseball, that trip doesn’t get planned the first 2 weeks of July. Only a casual follower thinks the news ends with the last out of the CWS.

Still can’t believe she took the weekend off for the Ole Miss series.

I never make it a point to listen to Moscona, but I happened to hear most of the Tebrake segment and with the Vandy guy.

We've heard reference to some of it already, but a few other things from the Vandy guy: He gushed about Carter Young's defense (silky smooth), and kinda hinted that his hitting struggles were probably injury related. I mean, I already knew he was good but I've seen alot that are worried about him. No worries. Young is going to be a good player here. Little is 1st round talent, but was still very immature (roller coaster performances and even behavior, he was suspended for what was likely academic reason at one point and got into it with the pitching coach at times). In my opinion, this is the jump year for Little. This is when he bears down, matures, and just carves people up.

She gives much more effort than writers that was covering LSU baseball before her. Like the guy that is covering for her.

Who was the last good LSU baseball reporter? Luke Johnson? He felt decent but I’m having a hard time remembering

I liked James Moran.

I still follow him on twitter. He left the Tiger Rag maybe 4 years ago I don't think he's tweeted about LSU since Exclusively New York sports.

People hates Chandler Rome but I didn’t mind him. He’s an LSU guy so he didn’t act completely miserable to cover the program

Mosconas scout source is Brandon Larson. No idea what Larson knows or doesn’t know but that’s Matts source

That’s correct. We all know that nobody from the advocate/TP is going to actually break any news, just update a story with a blurb or something to hopefully add a little context.

That whole writing staff is trash

That's kind of what I was thinking. I don't do twitter, and I don't read LSU beat reporters' stuff. When people post their tweets here, it always just seems like regurgitated information that we've already heard elsewhere.

But, if you are a beat reporter, what is so hard about just posting an update? Why is that so exhausting? I don't get it. If someone would pay me to just say stuff that people mostly already know, I'd sure not complain about it.

Yea, she’s on Twitter 247 anyway. I’m sure she has a quota on article to post, but other than that it should be pretty easy

I can’t stand Scone…between him being obnoxious, his terrible “sources”, and him pumping his scam crypto…it’s just the worst.

This is where I'll remind people that Little is about 45 days younger than Paxton Kling.

Guess I'm in the minority, but I love Scone's takes during football season

If anyone is interested in one more data point signifying the stagnation of interest in the program toward the end of the Mainieri era:

The previous baseball recruiting thread was 97 pages and it was started to cover the 2019 class and wasn't turned over for the 2020 and 2021 classes.

The one before that covered the 2017 and 2018 classes. It was 63 pages.

This thread will be longer than both combined by the end of the day very likely, and I started it less than a year ago.
