Adam’s wife finally texted back.
Turns out he spent the night in the bathroom.

You need to go back to your shanties on the Poli and Golf Boards.

Jay on OTB yesterday said we are going to lose some pitchers in the draft, no way around it. I’m assuming Snelling, Noot and Tebrake are probably the 3 at this point he’s referencing. Hopefully Shores is a guy on the fence that Wes can convince to come to school.
He also said the portal stuff is deliberate, not just taking everyone. Specifically mentions actions of the players giving him the feeling of whether they need to find someone else or not. Says if a situation like the vandy kid pulling his name from the draft comes up, it would impact what he does next. Makes me think my feeling that taking Young probably means he does feel good about getting most of the other infield options was right.

Tebrake sounds like he will sign for a bag of donut holes and an RC cola
Miseroski or whatever apparently threw like 200mph at the combine so that don’t help us
Noot may be a toss up

If you can land 1 of Shores/Noot that will be huge. Not sure I think that will happen though.
Misiorowski would be on the list of gone also. He had 8 of the top 10 fastball velocities at the combine. 98-101 is where he was sitting. That won't make it to campus. Slider had some of the top velocities and spin rate also.
Kennedy will likely get to campus, but I am still just a little worried in the back my head.

Forgot about him, he’s definitely one too.

I've always felt as if Shores was more of a lock to go and Noot on the fence.
Right now I see
No chance with Snelling or Misiorowski 0%
Small chance with Shores maybe 25%
Noot and Tebrake 50%
Kennedy, Herring, Moffett, Bronzini, Siravo all 75% and above

Noot doesn’t really seem to do interviews or anything to really give any indications of where he’s leaning. He also doesn’t get mentioned much by other recruits. I never really felt confident about him. Shores has apparently been a little inconsistent and that dropped his stock some. Maybe that helps us.

Shores is ace stuff. Put him with Johnson and in a few years he could get that big payday.

I don't have a good grasp on Shores and Noot and what they might be leaning. Usually when that is the case, they will likely sign if drafted in the position they are ranked. They will both be around the 3-4 rounds I'm sure. Slot value around 500-600K. Get picked by a team who moves money around and they can easily get 1 mil or close to it. Kind of similar to a Brock Selvidge situation from last years draft.

Yea it depends on who picks them and as we've mentioned pages ago teams will not choose a player anymore in the top 10 rounds with at least some kind of verbal acceptance over the phone.

Yea, for sure. Jud Fabian was definitely the outlier last season. I just went count and in the top 10 rounds only 3 didn't sign. 1 being Kumar Rocker, which that was a whole situation in itself.

good to see Tre without the knee brace, unless he just plays with it on as precaution.

Shores is gone. Scouts don’t care if you had 1 bad HS game
