Guess we will see if Jobert will hit the portal tomorrow. The JT thing has a little truth to it maybe. He has played LF in 2 of his 8 cape games so far.

Thompson to LF or RF makes a ton of sense if he buys in.

I have no dog in the fight so no “think of the children” here but if you think that doesn’t give them something else to consider then you are delusional.
A lot of people think everyone wants to be at LSU no matter the cost. For some the cost may now be too high.
There are only 4 recruits from Louisiana so besides those 4 there is no “I have always wanted to be a Tiger.”
I have no dog in the fight so no “think of the children” here but if you think that doesn’t give them something else to consider then you are delusional.

This board had posts a couple weeks ago about Jobert being told he isn’t promised a starting spot.

A swing and a miss, a national baseball brand doesn’t have to have just Louisiana kids that grew up wanting to be Tigers.

This class in LA wasn't talented. You don't just take players from LA because they're from LA. You take the best players, no matter where they're from.

You are missing the point. We don't really care if they don't like the transfer additions. The goal of this program is to win and those guys help us win tomorrow. There will be top prospects every single year. If Guidry watched them this year and didn't think a top tier SEC program was going to go get a seasoned vet to fill a hole then he was naïve and it tells me that he didn't want to turn down that 1.9 mil slot all that much. He was just finding a reason to take it.

No doubt. Didn't need to be told that by anyone with inside info that he wouldn't be promised a starting spot. He didn't hit for enough average to be promised anything. This guy said tomorrow, that was the part I was referring to. Not that he saying Jobert will go in the portal, but being as specific to give an exact day. If it happens tomorrow then to me he gets a little more credit then you guys seem to want to give him.

I brought up the fact that this new portal would factor into choices and pissed everyone off. Apparently kids are supposed to be all in no matter what! AND if you think differently they get BIG mad

Would it? Don’t they have to be officially in the portal by July 1st? If they do then saying in the next 3 days isn’t a great leap of faith.
