Steve Robertson from the MS State 247 site said yesterday that he was told Skenes would visit Tennessee, MS State, and LSU. So should be about right.

Around the time Ahuna committed to Tenn, I had heard they felt good about him and Skenes. I know they were also pursuing Tommy White, but I didn't get any info on where they thought they stood with him.

I would not be mad at some Skene Missiles and/or Tommy Tanks, but I'd really also like to address 1 more infield position and get more pitching.

also according to a staff member on the Florida State 247 site...as of today Tommy White's final 3 is UF, FSU, and LSU so who knows but it would appear we aren't going down without a fight for Tommy Tanks and Skenes

Tommy White played most of last season as their designated hitter. His defensive performance isn't up to the Rant's high standard. I don't know whether he will solve our problem at third base, but he is an excellent addition offensively.

Yeah idk either. I just know he was a 3B in high school so it was a simple plug and play for my fantasy lineup lol honestly I’ll let you boot 10 balls if you’re going to mash 25-30 homers. I’ll certainly live with it

He was thought to be a good 3B coming out of high school, but he's put on about 20 lbs. They moved a freshman SS to 3B this season and had a good 1B, so it may have just been a fit thing that White didn't play more corner IF
I don't really know alot about White other than being an excellent hitter. My initial inclination was that he would be a DH only, which we have several candidates for, so I was just lukewarm on him. None of our DH candidates hit like he does, though. The idea of him has grown on me, I guess.
If he wants to come, you take him and make it work.

The board also says he is basically requiring teams to promise him a spot in the field. Jay did it for Berry, so I’m sure he will do it for White. I’d imagine that is keeping us in the race.

Like what ccarrone said, you'll take 11-12 errors over at third from him if he hits like he does and makes up for it.
I think getting him also takes some pressure off a guy like Pearson to be counted on to fill Berry's and Doughty's shoes in the lineup
