Someone tell me about Priester. I read his perfect game profile but is he an immediate impact type player or is someone you take your time with and he breaks out as a sophomore or Junior?

People are going to expect immediate impact based on his rating and draft profile. But it’s extremely difficult for catchers to excel right away. He’s local though so he can start working with Kelly and whoever is coaching catchers right away.

They could put him on that BR Rougaroo team too if they want to start him getting higher level ABs.

Yeah right now you would think the roster is Milazzo, McManus, Priester, and Travinski. Milazzo and McManus likely getting the bulk of duties on an offense/defense basis, while Priester gets spot duty and develops, and Travinski takes an injury year.

Then in 23 it’s Priester and Travinski without the freshmen having to rush.

I wish Travinski would take the Matt Gaudet route and leave the team for a year while he rehabs, then come back and hit .280 with 19 home runs

And have part of a finger bit off? That's not fair to Travinski

Millas has now taken references to LSU off his Twitter. He hasn't announced a transfer destination, to my knowledge, but his twitter now says Country Roads Baseball, so maybe West Virginia?

Per d1 baseball, Millais is going to West Virginia

Looks like he has played a little in the Southeast Collegiate League this Summer. A notch below what you mention but he has at least played some games against older players with some college experience.

No one from our recruiting class or current roster has signed yet (except for Labas). I feel like Selvidge is probably close. The Yankees announced a few signings and have an extra $600K to throw at him.

The Royals saved around 2 million on Mozzicato. They will easily be able to get to $3MM for Kudrna, and still give Jensen whatever he wants.

Assuming he’s going to try to play both sports but he only acknowledged the baseball staff in his tweet

so many draft risks in that 2022 class, I think more than any class I can remember off the top of my head. I know things can fluctuate between now and next July but so far we'll be sweating:

Jones
Laviolette
Kling
Toman
Snelling
Neal
Romero
maybe Guidry?
Michael Kennedy?

Feels like there is 7-10 high draft pick caliber players. Watch the frick out if some of these guys make it.

Snelling is a dude. A lefty that consistently hits mid 90’s with his fb and he hits dingers.

Legit offers at LB too, Oregon was recruiting him
