One hell of a coach. To get him away from DBU as just an assistant is an incredible haul. One of the most personable coaches I've ever met, and very even keel, something that comes from working under Heefner.
You get a coach from there with the standing they have, it's always a good thing. It'll be interesting to see how soon the head coach offers come in

This portal thing could not have been timed any better. 2021 class already in place, yet Johnson has been able to come in and already make an impact. I already can't wait to see what he does in future years.

Getting Priester in this current class takes a lot of pressure off of pulling the catchers in the next class. All three in the next class are draft risks to varying extents. It's hard not to feel most confident about getting Frey to campus thought since he's the local kid.

When is the deadline for this crop of draftees to sign with the team that drafted them? I have September 1st in mind but not sure if that’s correct.

Baseball America put out their top 50 HS and College players for the 2023 draft. I haven't looked at the 50 college player list but on the HS list we have:
11. Steven Milam
19. Austen Roellig
32. Kade Anderson
34. Trenton Lape
There are some other guys on the list that I'm pretty sure we're recruiting as well.
