I see we are bringing in more lefties as well. Cant have a 2018 season all over again. Thanks for the update Project (i hope you're wrong about Cabrera and Henry leaving lol).

Of those four guys, who do you think makes it to campus?

Ty Floyd reminds me of a relief specialist

I think we could get Floyd, Money, and Millas to campus. Way is an outside possibility, but he's potentially a second rounder.
The three HS guys have enough questions that they could answer in college and significantly improve their draft stock over three years (I don't remember off hand but I don't think any of them would be draft eligible sophs).

I think I saw a post somewhere where you estimated who would be top 5 round draft guys. I was wondering if you could update this first post list. I reference it repeatedly during the year.
I ran searches on individual players and I am not even finding this thread?
BTW, Thank you for your work on this thread. These composite threads are wonderful.

That stuff is in the offseason roster thread on the rant. I can’t put it in the original post of this one, but probably not until next week when I have access to a laptop again. Too difficult on my phone.
ETA: if you are looking for that thread, click on my profile and look at the thread I started.

I was reading today that Mainieri will give left handed OF Drost a chance to pitch.

Where did you read that at?
Not because I don’t believe you but because I’m starving for baseball content

I read the article on tigerdetails. I found an article on google but can't figure out how to link it with the chromebook.
I googled "La gatorade player of the year drost" and there is an article by pelicanpreps.rival.com. Sounds like he is pretty committed to coming to LSU.

I saw on twitter that 2020 signee LHP Javen Coleman hit 95.9 on the radar gun recently.

The Prospect League just cancelled their 2020 season. That leaves Hasty, Safford, and Sanford without a summer place to play as of now.
The Northwoods league still looks like it's a go, but roster information has been tough to come by. I think Toups is headed there though.
Beloso, Arnold, Cranford, Doughty, DiGiacomo, Milazzo, and Kaminer are all headed to the South Florida Collegiate League. They are scheduled to start on like June 12th.
The TCL still plans on playing, but we don't have anyone on the Acadiana team and the Baton Rouge team hasn't updated their roster for this year.
The new SECL is playing in Baton Rouge, Hattiesburg, and maybe Jackson. Incoming freshman Brooks Rice is the only one scheduled for that one that I'm aware of.

This was the last question in FanGraphs Prospect Analyst Eric Longenhagen's chat today:

What caused Drew Romo to slide ~20 spots down the BOARD?

concern about the hit tool, likely going to school

Can confirm the reports that Florida prep OF Dylan Crews has pulled his name out of the draft, is headed to LSU. Had lots of interest in the comp to 2nd round area. Long had been rumors he wanted top-15 pick money. 39th on today's draft rankings

If Drew Romo makes it to campus, that's a big logjam of talented players there, Milazzo, Travinski, Romo, and Garza. If Mainieri agreed to keep Doughty so his younger brother would sign that makes 5.

I bet travinski ends up being a 1b/DH. Maybe even try him in the OF
