6’2 175 is a good size for a 15 year old.

Yeah, I listed him as a shortstop in the main posts. But he's going into his sophomore year, so he could be a shortstop or a pitcher, or end up playing any other position based on his size. Big kid.

From right near Kalamazoo. There is a lot of talent in the northern states. And our 2021 class is dipping into Michigan and Iowa.

According to perfect game he is the number 4 player in the 2021 class, and the #1 SS. He chose LSU over teams like Florida, Vandy, South Carolina, NC St.

I've always felt that LSU never really recruits against other college schools it's whether or not they can retain them from MLB.

That's exactly what it is. It's a tight rope act. You've got to find those good enough to play and contribute at the SEC level but not quite good enough to be stolen away by the MLB. I do not envy Paul's job here

If he beats out Simon I’ll be impressed.

No they won’t. Peterson won’t start another game at LSU unless it’s a dire situation.

Nothing has come out publicly on whether or not he's coming to LSU. So it's hard to tell.

Project I believe I read somewhere that McMurray has or had a shoulder issue. Is that true?

Yeah, he either only threw like 2 innings his senior year or didn't pitch at all. I think i read shoulder as well.

Do you think Beloso can play 1st or is a DH candidate next year? I'm kinda leaning to Garza at 1st. Beloso's bat alone will get him in the lineup I'm sure.

Both of them will get looks at 1B. As will Willis, probably Bianco, and Bryce Jordan.

Garza's strikeout rate in the summer league is a little high, but if it tracks his JUCO season, it will go down as the season progresses.

But he's going to have to make contact to stay on the field for LSU. LSU is typically a low strikeout team.

According to Elijah Cabells instagram story...he is a member of Florida State 22 so looks like he is not a Gator which I'll take.

Really interested to know what went on there. Can’t imagine CPM just didn’t want him back in the fold
