Man, outside of the Watford news, it has been a tough go on the recruiting front the last few months.
I never expected us to have the same level of success we did last year; but it was awesome when we used to have so much momentum. Now we are seen to be missing out on a lot of things and news is very hard to come by.

I can't agree with you.
WE have four of our top players returning.
We stole the best player in the state of Alabama.
James Bishop will absolutely be a star before he leaves.
And Frank Williams Wade will surprise you with a grad transfer, or a late signee.

What does returning players have anything to do with recruiting?
And I didn’t say anywhere in my post that I wasn’t excited about next year’s team with the level of returning and incoming talent. However, I am a little concerned about a lack of size from a rebounding and defensive standpoint.
Plus 2 of our 3 recruits were early signees. So again, my point stands that outside of Watford we haven’t had much news or action on the recruiting front. That doesn’t mean or imply that I’m disappointed in our class or in Wade. I am one of Wade’s biggest advocates on here and I trust him more than any coach on campus from an overall program mgmt standpoint.

If Dante passes all of his summer classes he'll qualify for 2019 and probably be in this class.

Would be nice. With the returning players being the core of the team and adding Watford, Manning and Dante, LSU will have no glaring weaknesses. And with the addition of Hyatt LSU should be better from 3. All the freshmen from last season will be even better in 2019. A player has their greatest improvement between their freshman and soph seasons. Even without Dante, LSU is going to be awesome!!!

The Dante thing was discussed before on here I just didn't think to bookmark it. It was all about if he could take extra classes to qualify for 2019 instead of 2020. So far it looks like he will be in the 19 class, Wade has been on him a while.
