Did we sign another big for this year in the 6'9" range to play this year and not on board yet or is it for next year?

From the best information out there, it looks like Wade will fill the one remaining scholarship before the fall semester begins. It seems like a red shirt big is the most likely target, but we will have to see what he does. There is only a short time before the semester begins, so we should hear something soon.
BTW, although information is scant, I'm cautiously optimistic about the upcoming season from what is being written about the Spain trip! It would be nice to have video of the games, but I think Wade wants to keep some secrets before the season begins.

From what I gathered the DR team was very good competition and comparable to physical college teams like Houston and Michigan State according to Wade.
The Valencia team was not good at all. We just out matched them.

That's what I've heard so far about the trip. I just wish there was more information out there.

School starts tomorrow at LSU. If a transfer is coming, it will be announced soon. Late registration lasts about a week, so there is almost no time left.

Tolu Smith is one of the names out there. A Western Kentucky University transfer that would have to sit out a year as a red shirt big man.

There’s a 247 article that said he rated it a 10 out of 10 and was blown away on the visit but the rest of the report is for member’s only.

I agree. It would seem like it is too late for a late 2019 fall signee.

This was the main gist of the article; not much beyond it. He had LSU pretty much at top of his list coming in and the visit did nothing to change that. He enjoyed being around the coaches and players and even played some pick up games. He may return for an unofficial later in season and plans to be an early signee; so should have a decision by November.

Thomas was announced last month. I believe that he went to Spain, but did not play.
He has not been listed on the roster on the website until recently, however.
