I was talking to a Bama backer about the Fluker situation and basically telling him that is what they get for stealing our players and they we put a voodoo curse down every time that happened and laughed and he said some of Bama people have started talking about that as it seemed that every Louisiana recruit to go to UT, Bama or Auburn lately had been trouble or a bust. We could recall:

1) Luther Davis and DJ Fluker may cost Bama a Natty and MSU and UT god knows what.

2)Trovon Reed didn't see the field Saturday and is having injury problems. I dont know about Greg Robinson.

3)Janzen Jackson arrested at UT and caused huge scandal. kicked off team.

Who am I missing? I am sure we are just forgetting the players who have done well but we could not recall any.

Reed played very sparingly. Robinson is starting at LT. Honestly it was the best move for him as he would not be starting at LT for us. Maybe another position though. He played pretty well.

I can only really think of 3 Louisiana players that are making a bit of an impact at other SEC schools.... Dak Prescott at Mississippi St and DeShavor Everett at A&M, Darian Claiborne is doing ok at A&M as well.

If you are a recruit in Louisiana with an LSU offer and you don't commit to Miles, you fall to the Miles curse. It's real.

Claiborne is one i wish we would have offered. Feel like he was one that we let get away.

Pretty sure he's starting for them...if not, he plays a lot. He'll be very good.

He's doing really well. He could end up being a bigger miss than Collins.

Landon Collins for how hyped he was coming out has been a disappointment.

He'd absolutely be starting for LSU had he come here. That's why it still hurts.

Devall fits in with what Bama does. I don't consider him much of a loss.

Patrick Miller was still playing for LSU...when he made that false start on the goal line.

Collins is showing the same struggles our current safeties are, great athletes who haven't quite taken the next step from a FB IQ standpoint.

Devall fits what they do, but I also think he would have been a natural in the middle, something we seem to be missing right now. We took a shite ton of LBs in his class but they all seem to be much better on the outside at the moment.

Collins has played well the little bit I've seen and he would most likely be starting for us.

Devall will be a really good one as well and as much as I hate to say, he's probably a better fit at bama than at LSU. But I'll take Kwon in that trade because he's a better fit for us.

Robinson would probably be playing on the OL and would probably be our RT or LG.

Raven is doing ok at aTm. He wouldn't be a starter here, but he'd probably be a nickle or dimeback. I don't think he had an offer from us though.

Daniel Sams is a good fit for K-State. Not sure he would have had a place here, although we didn't offer him either.
