Louisiana High School Coach - No to Bama

My 11 year old son does a coaches show for area high school coaches and players. He had Coach David Feaster on last night. Coach Feaster was at Parkway when Bama coaches tried to recruit some of his players and he banned them from the school.

He got in trouble when Feaster was at Parkway for banning the Bama coaches, then my son asked him last night if he would ban them now that he is at Glenbrook.

Damn, some of y’all can be unnecessarily harsh. The man is proud of his 11 y/o son for hosting a YouTube show and interviewing coaches. He didn’t come here to brag about his spelling prowess.
Props to your son for embracing technology and creating content. Wish I had that kind of drive and maturity at his age.

Side story: My 5th grade teacher named me the class representative for the school spelling bee. I failed in the first round. The word was account, and I spelled it "acount". The class was pissed at me, and I still feel the shame.

Yeah, I'd bank that there will never, ever be a player from Glenbrook recruited by bama or any other SEC school. So saying that at Glenbrook isn't on the same level with saying it at Parkway. Fwiw, I like Feaster. He's a hell of a coach, he's just very polarizing.

Glenbrook is small and mostly Caucasians so thats usually a recipe for disaster on the football field, but they are salty for sure. Last year was their first year in the LHSAA. They beat Haynesville at Haynesville and finished 9-2 with the only losses coming from Calvary and Homer.
They actually play Haynesville tonight. They have a huge senior class for 1-A football teams. With saying all of that, I agree, Glenbrook is not on the same level as Parkway for sure.
