Never got to see him play in person and only limited highlights. Just curious what sort of abilities/expectations TE has if he ends up on campus.

Any back (former Tiger?) he reminds you of?

I'd say Alfred Blue. His speed and power don't blow you away, but he's a fluid runner with good change of direction and first cut IMO. He will get positive yards, but probably won't break them like Fournette or Guice that often.

Isn't his speed his strongest asset?

He looks like Early Doucet.

I don't have a comparison because I haven't seen much video on him either.

Ford had elite acceleration and good top end speed.

TE has great acceleration and great top end speed.

They are very similar backs in how they could be used. I think TE is more of a homerun threat once he gets in the open, but might not get the edge as consistently as ford

IMO

I believe that for sure. Wasn't he one of our best lifters on the team?

I will say in college he wasn't known as a downhill runner though. I doubt TE is as strong as him, we'll see how he uses his leverage when running though

Yeah, Ford was a muscle machine. TE seems a little slimmer than Ford, but looks to have great top end speed.

I'm liking the Richard Murphy/Alfred Blue comparisons.

Not at all trying to take away from TE, but damn we've been spoiled with Fournette followed by Guice

Blue could have played pro. Kinda unfair to compare he and the ghost to each other. Both great backs.

Either one get loose in the open field... They was gone.
