Looking at RBs returning...if Ware/Ford both declare

We'll only have 3 RBs for next year between Hill, Hilliard and Blue (who is coming off a bad injury).
If both Ware and Ford declare, do we go after a RB last second here? Maybe we move Magee back to RB if need be?

Magee would go back to RB, and I think serious thought would be given to putting Brazil at RB (which should be looked at anyway).

Brazil needs to play defense, return specialist or WR. He would be wasted at RB, IMO. I mean seriously, when has Miles effectively used a small RB with speed? You know he likes those 225lb power backs.
I think we'll take 3 RBs next year. Fournette is the obvious target. Based on how LSU uses backs, I could see us getting Fournette and another highly touted RB close to him.

Brazil is not going to be a sec type back, he would only be situational
Not sure what position Brazil will end up at but they better find a way to utilize that speed somewhere

I agree Magee should go back to RB if he doesn't transfer. I think those 3 will be plenty for next year barring injury of course.

Hill
Blue (if healthy)
Hilliard
Magee
Whats the problem ... thats still better than 75% of the country

Trindon?

We aren't taking a RB in this class. The staff seems to be betting on pulling a few studs from a loaded RB class in 2014.
Hopefully we land Leonard, Devon Thomas and D.K Buford.
That RB class is fap worthy.

There's no problem if everyone stays healthy, but that doesn't always happen.
Even in your post you put a "if healthy" because Blue is coming off a serious injury. Hilliard went from a threat to WTF happened last year to this year. Magee hasn't even played RB for a year. Hill could be the only steady guy to rely on next year (but I certainly hope Blue comes back and is effective and Hilliard gets out of his funk)

some rantard said Ware was gone
Frank will have to teach someone how to pass block since we can only teach that to one RB at a time and Ware was the most recent one.

These two are actually going to leave early to become at best 3rd or 4th rounders?? Besides, Ware and Ford are behind Hill and Blue on the depth chart anyway. We'll be fine.

We also still have Paul Turner available I believe.

Mods are saying they gone...Ware definitely, Ford more than likely.
With Hill emerging and Blue coming back, I think they realize things wont get better carry wise for 2013.

Fresher legs make for longer Pro careers.
Who is a better Pro Running Back, Ridley or Ingram?

It worked out pretty good for Ridley. It's understandable these guys would rather give the NFL a try than stay and get the few carries left over from Hill and Blue

I think that's due to Ingram sucking more than anything. A 2-star no name back could probably run for 1000 yards behind Bama's OL.
Ridley has had a great year for the Patriots, but, it is with the Patriots who any RB has a good year for just about.

Maybe part of it is due to the fact that Ridley didn't have 900 carries in the SEC, too.

I don't see any way that either guy will be drafted. Can someone name me a running back with comparable stats who was ever drafted? Willie Parker had a good career with the Steelers with similar numbers at UNC, but he was not drafted.

Ingram isn't injured or hurt, he just sucks.
But like I said, Ridley has been very good, but you have to take it with a grain of salt because it's with a team every RB has at least a pretty good year with.
