So we arent getting Leavitt?
Posted on 1/10/26 at 7:08 pm to Solarbeam7
He wouldn't be our starter right?

With our schedule i don't see us winning it all in year 1 anyway. It might be better for us to start developing a young guy

He would be a developmental piece but to fight for a starting position.

He may be the only guy on our roster.

I truly hate thinking like this is today's current college football.
Indiana went to the playoffs in year one under their new coach.
I think any given year you can flip a team and make a run. Ole Miss never expected that run this season.

What a loser mentality. Guarentee Kiffin does not share this same mentality. We gave kiffin 40 mil in NIL you don’t give a coach that budget to not try to win as many games as possible year 1 frick that

I agree but if you miss on all the frontline QBs and you don't have a line at some point you need to pivot and go get the best guys with multi years of eligibility available. It's just being realistic with yourself

Ask yourself, why would this kid leave his home state and his QB2 spot under Lincoln Riley to come here and be a "Developmental Piece"? ...That's the situation he's currently in lol.
He's coming here to be QB1 if this Leavitt situation falls through.

Good god you’re embarrassingly wrong on every board you post. This is the SECOND YEAR for Indiana’s coach

He's right... you're embarrassingly wrong. He did make the playoffs on Year 1
