What? Were you in Coma from 97 to 2010? Texas was in the BCS CG in 2009, there have only be 2 played since then, they won 10 games like 10 years strait before that. They's had 1 losing since Clinton was POTUS. A program that has difficulty reaching .500

Man I get people are mad, I agree with BilJ Davis is a punk bitch, but come on.

Yes, Texas put him up to being secretive about his change in commitment, but it doesn't excuse him from not being honest and upfront with the LSU staff.

Maybe he still wanted to be able to use social media, keep his phone number, etc. If he switched to TX earlier he'd have to deal with the bullshite longer
you don't think people will be mad and lash out after signing day? Devall did not get any shite or at least not like the other 2. He handled it better. He decided on Bama and didn't string LSU along, he never even visted LSU his Sr year.

then to cover your pussy move you tell the media you made the switch because of unhappy players at LSU.
This is definitely worth mentioning.
It's one thing to handle your business immaturely, it's a whole different level to not only sabotage your state school, but throw gas on the fire afterwards.
LSU recruits leaving the state of LA have shown an increasing trend of handling their recruitment poorly. Devall and Reed are two that handled their business properly that come to mind.
Janzen Jackson still takes the cake, IMO. Especially considering his dad is in the business.

I predict at least 50 pages.

He handled it better, sure, but Davis changed his mind halfway through - Devall decided ages before. That meant Davis was going to get a truckload of shite dumped on him however he did it. Limiting the time he had to deal with it was the smart move. I almost would've made up some stuff about grades and whatnot and signed with TX at the very last possible moment if I were him.

in the business
This pretty much sums it up. Recruiting has become bigger business. That, in addition to the growing entitled attitude being ingrained in today's youth, has had seriously negative impact on CFB recruiting over the past 10 years.

honestly reminds me of they Ryan Perrilloux recruitment except in reverse
RP left an out of state school to stay home and play for his homestate. Everyone knew RP was gonna flip on NSD
Davis fricked over his homestate school and the only people that new were UTs coaches who had Davis lie to everyone about it.
Not the same.

Doing it on signing day when LSU has no time for a replacement is a chicken shite move and he;s going to get more shite because of that than for leaving. Its not like 2/1 comes and after that here will never be shite coming his way. Are people still mad at Trevon Reed? No, he handled it right. All Davis had to say was, I changed my mind, i like journalism program better, Texas is known as one of the top J school's in the country or something like that. Yeah, maybe some retards still get on him, but most people would understand and wish him well.

no offense, but that's a cowardly move.

I still think what RP did was chickenshit, but there was also a coaching change at LSU, that changes things a bit as well. You always have to wonder about OOS guys until signing day.

Totally agree. No disrespect intended but this was obviously a recruiting FAIL. Having been committed as long as he was the coaches should have had a better temperature on this kid.. Can LSU not present a compelling alternative to the "Longhorn Network"?. Of course they can! Based on what's being reported here it appears we simply failed to stay inside of this guy's bubble sufficiently enough to see what was coming.
Maybe next time.

what can LSUs coaches learn or do better from his recruitment?
If the kid is telling LSUs coaches he's coming and cancelled his inhome with his #2 school and he's been commited for a year, what are the coaches supposed to think? They cant hire the FBI and polygraph the recruits.

Miles alluded to it in a press conference or at the bash, its the importance of 3rd party handlers in some cases.
