It's probably meant to encourage him. Now I don't know if his needed score is doable with hard work and a little luck or completely pie in the sky, but keeping him on the roster shows we aren't giving up on him as long as there is a chance.

I stated on this board that if Liggins was the only QB recruit left, LSU should wait and sign a better QB in the class of 2013--it looks like they should do that with the two current QB commits. Hope they can hang on to both Rettig & Jennings.

To me, it is not the worst thing for LSU football if Liggins doesn't qualify academically & has to enroll at Gulf Coast CC. If he goes to a community college, then I doubt Liggins will sign with LSU in a few more years.

Needs coaching in testmanship. Thats what it takes to game the sstandardized national test. Take the old test and learn the repeated questions. If they guy is going to be a QB he should be able to get by the ACT.
