I would have liked to see what he could have done at DT with that athleticism.

Dam that sucks...I definitely don't want to have to compete against him over the next 4-5yrs
He will NEVER make the grades. It wont matter how many practices he watches, I doubt he can make the grades at JUCO either.
Mississippi cranks out tons of great players.... It is sad that they can't get many of them on the field because they cant read or write.

what was the joke.... Getting a 4 year degree at a Mississippi University will teach you to read and write, but you still won't know how to get to Atlanta?
I don't remember, any help?

I've stated all along we needed him for this year, but with Bolden we don't. So that worked out. On top of that, instead of waiting on a total project, we were able to get commitments from two top flight quarterbacks in Rettig and Jennings.
This has actually worked out well for us. Liggins may turn out to be a good player/quarterback, or he may not. I think what we have coming in is much more of a sure thing and I would take that position right now.

How does the NCAA deal with his LOI, if he stays in CC for just one year? Does he still have to go to LSU?
what if he graduates in two years with an AA degree?

247 reporting he dropped out of Gulf Coast CC.
Liggins enrolled at Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston, Miss., over the summer, where he attended classes and participated in off-season workouts.
His junior college coach confirmed to Rebels247 that Liggins left the Gulf Coast football team on Tuesday.
“We wish Jeremy nothing but the best with his future, but he has left our team,” Gulf Coast head coach Steve Campbell told Rebels247.
“Jeremy is a great kid and we wish him well. We wish him nothing but the best.”

I'm guessing he's close enough to qualifying and was told some OM magic can get him there. His clock hasn't started, so he can in effect do an Avery Johnson and get qualified in the fall. The LOI won't hold because he's not going to be qualified going into the fall.

He checked in at 296 pounds during weigh ins at MGCCC. Yeah, going to go ahead and say this guy ate his way out of a scholarship offer here.

He has a long way to go before he is at a level to even have a remote chance of playing QB at LSU. It is doubtful the staff will even offer him once his Gulf Coast career is over, unless he can be convinced his future looks better at some other position.

He'll be going to Ole Miss in January

Probably next to nothing since he doesn't have alot of experience playing it.

Probably checking out what kind of players he'll be seeing the next couple years at MGCCC.
