Heard he told Saban "I thought you would be taller"

Until Saban shows that he will start you based on talent alone you can forget about jumping somebody. Since he's been with Bama, he's done the one-two veteran-newcomer angle but he's never signed so many RBs before. I can see Henry coming in and being as good as Richardson was.

You'll have Yeldon Henry 2 years straight with Fournette lucky to get 3 carries a game his freshman year or redshirting. He'll then be behind Henry and have to beat out rival 5* Bo for the second spot. Thing is with Bama's impenetrable moving fortress he could potentially run for 1600+ his junior year if given the carries.

We've played Bama to a 2-2 record the last 4 games and that's without a competent QB like Matt Flynn. Given a good QB the past 2 years and LSU would have 2 more crystal balls in the trophy case and the writers talking about an LSU dynasty instead of Bama

Mett played lights out against Bama last year. You have no idea what you're talking about. Our defense let us down as much as that playcall on 4th down.

While I hope that LF signs with us, it's not absolutely necessary. Remember Jacob Hester? He was a two star recruit and look what he did at LSU. Small fullback, but big heart!

As far as QB, I'm not looking for Mett to take us anywhere just as JaMarcus Russell. When Russell was in, I kept shouting for Flynn as he had better vision and better command of the game

Goddamn man. At least try to cloak your idiotic racism.

Anyone who mentions that Jacob Hester was a 2-star recruit should automatically be banned.

I once heard Verne say Herm Edwards was the largest baby born in the State of Louisiana, but I misheard

We have signed another pro style out of Cali, but we've also got a dual threat that could be our best bet. It seems like they do a bit better in college than pro styles

I keep coming back and reading this. This might be the worst post I've read in a while. It combines so much cliche idiocy from throughout the years of TD.com. All you're missing are a couple "Keep John Brady", "Fire Les Miles", and "Holliday to DE" comments in there and it would be perfection.

If by impenetrable you mean Grabbing, Bear Hugging or Grappling, then you may just be correct. Notice their O-Linemen are not as good in the NFL, where Holding is a penalty called without bias?

Haha that's a funny observation, and you're right. and I'm prime for the taking for trolls because sadly no troll post could ever be as terrible and ridiculous as many real posters here

Of course it's not absolutely necessary but you're comparing a back who everybody was shocked to see go over 1000 his senior year to a back that has the potential and is expected to go over 1000 his freshman year. I know he definitely exceeded expectations, but we need a top notch starter when there is a major possibility that all our backs sans Magee leave this year. Hopefully we are ok with the backs we bring in if we don't get Fournette, but we are almost guaranteed success if this guy is on the roster. It's akin to how Bama fans expected of Yeldon before he stepped on the field.

I'm not like others so I don't see the greatness in the Sione kid. And if we can't lock down Fournette then I don't see our run game being as dominant like in years past. I like Williams though he has that power Les loves in his RB and kinda has that wiggle like Ridley. My take is if we don't get Fournette(chances are very low) than I still believe we could land another top RB like fap worthy Racean Thomas.

This. And BTW, Barrett Jones will get owned in the NFL if he even gets on the field.

RB Leonard Fournette and his New Orleans (La.) St. Augustine teammate four-star CB Jermaine Roberts will be visiting UA tomorrow. They originally planned to come this weekend, but will be participating in a camp on Saturday. Roberts confirmed their plans with BamaOnline and says that they plan on being on campus and meeting with the staff for a few hours before heading back to New Orleans.

Crutchfield taking it upon himself to drive the kids to tuscaloosa for a few hours. It's bs, but that guy is doing what's best for his program, and maybe for Roberts if he doesn't eventually get the LSU offer.

He'd better do it now, might not be a part of that program if he keeps losing to Karr.
