Every kid is product of his family environment or lack thereof. That means Mom & Dad (never saw a pic of him) endorsed this chicken shite move if true. So much for integrity and character. Good riddance!

I agree

I said that in another thread

Lsu needs to step up the shady shite if they want to have any chance to get these elite players

Phuck him and his shady a55 family. Real pos move to do that. If u want to go to clemaon fine be a man and tell the coaches so they can move on and give other kids a shot. Any other way u look at it its shameful and low down. No character these days

He probably needed to to secure a spot but still wanted to have his moment. Stop getting hitched to 18 year old kids.

I do believe LSU knew, however, but I don’t know if they were told directly.

The tea leaves would certainly indicate that the staff knew in regards to Kimo visiting and his offer becoming commitable.

LSU’s head coach is Ed Orgeron and his right hand man is Derek Ponamsky

Let’s not act like LSU doesn’t play the game — Arik, Ojulari, Davis, Deion Smith, Dellinger, Goodwin ...

Yeah, this would have leaked in some way had the coaches known. There are too many folks around the program on the boards that could care less about spoiling his reveal.

Also the quote from Dixon was that while coaches were trying to close on him he was already signed. Why would a coach try and close a recruit they knew already signed?

Yeah, like voltiger? Surprised he didn’t let us in on that scoop.

Well if the coaching staff didn't know how would he? I think it is clear he has some sort of connection with the coaching staff but he isn't telepathic.

You really believe the staff knew? I seriously doubt they would recruit a kid that’s already signed.

So when he tweeted pic of himself in LSU gear last week, was he already signed with Clemson?

Yep and probably leading Garrett Nussmeier on after his family spend a lot of money on the air n b to let Tristan and his family stay at for free on their trip to Baton Rouge.

Well that’s a piece of shite move no matter how you slice it. Comical that anyone here can defend his actions.

On that note... they better be on the phone with Crawford before Arky signs him.

Pittman loves him and they have room too.

ETA: something to consider strategy wise...
Now that all the near-as-sure-thing OTs are off the market this is the point where your eyes-on evaluations for OL come into play. However, this year there was none of that.

So logic says you should heavily favor the guy you were able to evaluate yourself (Crawford) or a transfer with game film and experience (Wilson) over 2021 recruits. OL are hard enough to project, if you can avoid it you pass this year.
