I think he’s underrated. Look for him to get a bump before the end.

Texas High School Football Magazine calls Keys a two-way standout. His upside is in playing the LB position. Finds the football, getting through the traffic. Some of his other schools, Baylor, TCU, aTm. He had a number of offers.
Great get by the staff. Having Clark as a mentor, only helps.
His offer list along with Dave’s Top 100 in Texas, might be a guy with three stars, could be a little low.

I'm expecting big things from Keys. He kind of reminds me of Debo Jones. I'm not a scout but I think he's going to do very well at LBU.

Damone is a great athlete and terrible linebacker - that said, somehow he seemed to have the respect of his coaches and teammates so he probably has the potential to be a great mentor and LSU ambassador
Now that he’s not playing for LSU, I can wholeheartedly say “Go Damone!!”

What I will always appreciate is that there were 3 Baton Rouge area LBs who played in the SEC out of the ‘17 and ‘18 class and Damone is the only one who was drafted and has played in the NFL. The other 2 were higher rated and much higher paid (this was pre-NIL) coming out of high school, but only Damone enjoyed being drafted and playing in the NFL.
