Law may end up being a defensive back.

Ibieta is fundamentally sound and fast as lightning. How we passed for so long escapes me, especially with how he blew up camps. That other mercenary guy doesn’t interest me.

I didn’t see anything in those vids that said Landon will be better than Law and that’s ok. I want kids that want to be at LSU

Law is more talented than Ibieta even if Ibieta turns out to be more productive in college. Although Nick Saban has the best chance of getting the most out of Law than arguably anyone else I'm college football.

He’s a monster. People don’t want to hear this but depending on Ward and Flott he easily could have started for us at slot CB if he would play D.

I don’t think there’s any evidence to show that that is the case.
They sign more five and four star players than anybody so naturally they put a lot of players in the pros. But they process a lot of guys too in favor of the next crop of studs coming in. Those guys don’t get developed. They are discarded.

Ibieta was literally the best player on the field in a 7 on 7 summer tournament in which just his team featured Law, Matthews, Welch, Jordan Allen, Shazz Preston, etc

I'm sure the coaches pitched this option to him. He decided to go to Bama where Saban is promising him playing time exclusively as a WR. Then in year 2 he will be forced to move to corner because Saban lied about the process. He'll post some cryptic tweet which he will subsequently delete. Then at the the end of the year he will be in the portal. It's a tale as old as time.

Lol at him taking the ball from that DB and the DB getting up throwing his hands up in excitement like he made a play then the shock on his face realizing Ibieta caught it

3 star Jack Bech outperformed 3 top 100 WR’s from the ‘21 class and Nabers who wasn’t in the top 100 did the same. Stop simping for stars and use your eyes.

slight cringe, here.

Let’s not act like we did with Landon or Cameron.

That was a disgrace.

In his defense, Cam Sims is an NFL receiver. He didn’t do much in college but I don’t think you can call him a miss.

So, is Russell Gage who was rated rated lower than Cam Sims. But based off of hype you’d expect more how people on this board made things seem.

Not really The stats don't favor this argument but people make it all the time.

That doesn't preclude the fat that we really don't know who will shine in 3 years or even 1 or 2 years. So I just don't melt about this stuff, even if I am a bit displeased with certain outcomes.

Or maybe like derick Henry he just lets him play.

I remember when we missed in Jerry Tillery. Kid was a huge Notre Dame fan and wanted to play DT. We never gave him that opportunity snd told him he would be an olineman.

Now he’s a top 15 nfl defensive lineman and dominates.

You worry about the other shite later. Step 1 is to get the guy on your team and not the other.

Have to disagree with u here. Seen both play and Laws ability to go get the ball separates the two imo.
