If he does pick Bama tonight, I really think he will switch to LSU by signing day. When he gets back home to an all LSU household with his mom wanting him to stay home.

The game is in St Pete, why is everyone referring to Orlando? Are they practicing there and traveling to play the game in ST Pete?

This thread is losing momentum. It's gonna be tough to catch the Kiel thread before the announcement.

Did I miss something? Is this thread anchored?

It will shoot back up this afternoon. It will easily beat the Kiel thread if it doesn't get anchored.

I'm not saying it's definitive, because there are exceptions both ways, but an early commitment favors LSU... why? If he picks Bama today, he will have to hear it until NSD. If he's going OOS, it's going to be easier to play coy every day until NSD, then pick Bama, submit LOI and it's done - no pressure, because he can't change it.

Made even tougher by it being anchored...

Bama and Saban and Tuscaloosa...

or

LSU and Miles and Baton Rouge

No question about it that I'm biased, but the choice seems pretty easy to me.

Landon has been consistent for months. What has changed are the rumors. Don't equate rumors either for the truth or directly attributable to the recruit.

Exactly...I find it hard to believe a top Louisiana kid would commit to Bama before signing day. Right or wrong, that's really not a smart way to let things play out.

I agree. I have seen this a lot. LC really hasn't said anything.

I think Prom is behind the anchoring in order to keep his Kiel record intact

I just want to remind everyone in this thread that LSU did land Gunner Keil. I think he'll be the one in this class earning the championship, regardless of Mr. Collins' choice.

He can either hop on the train or get run over by Gunner for 4 years.
