Can anyone give me a pronounciation key for this dude? Cause every time I see his name I read it "La-Cooter"

Actually he is originally from Massachusetts. He watched "Friday Night Lights" and decided to move to Odessa Permian. Then he got an offer from Sherman his sophomore year. He committed and moved to A&M Consolidated. Then that staff got fired and he got wobbly. Decommitted, committed to Nebraska and moved there. Then finally LSU.
Frankly most of us were never very high on the offer and were shocked when LSU took his committment.

His momma says he is 6'6", 288
Those numbers were likely taken whenever he arrived two weeks ago...

He look pretty damn good in his all-american game. He was double teamed for most of the game and was still penetrating. He had a sack.

He'll definitely will be in the rotation at DT next season, being here for the spring is huge for him

Just waiting until Moffit get ahold of these kids. I don't think he gets enough credit. One of the best strength and conditioning coaches in the business. He turns them from boys to men!

Lacouture's connection with LSU is Coach Kragthorpe.

Doesn't get enough credit!? I can't get through a recruiting thread without reading "Just wait 'till Moffitt get ahold to him". He's probably very good, but I hope LSU fires that pencil dick just so I don't have to hear about him anymore.

Definitely needs to redshirt to get that weight on and learn some better technique for his height at the college level
We should never discuss redshirting a player ever again. We have to assume that they are only going to be with us 4 years before they move on.

Well, if someone isn't good enough to get in the 2-deep rotation, we might as well redshirt him anyway.

If he's not on the OL in 2 years, I'll be surprised.

About the same build as Heron, and he's listed as faster than Heron. It's a mystery to me why some guys end up where they do. Example: if we got a recruit who was 6'-2", 220 LBs, ran a 4.4, had fabulous quickness, was fluid as hell, and had great hands, where would you put him? I'm thinking running back or maybe WR. But that's PP7. It worked out, but I can't imagine looking at that kid and thinking defense.
