Not sure the article is saying differently. Bk said Rees is the starter last week. Going into camp Hendrix will be two. Zaire, three.

Malzahn and Auburn would not be a bad choice for Harris, if PT is at the top of his list.
LSU is no lock, and the Harrises are not talking after the embarrasment of a week or so ago...

we signed two QBs last year... one JUCO who will likely start, and a very good high school QB is the odds on favorite to take over in a year or two.
I don't see how early PT is any better or worse at Auburn than LSU... if anything, LSU will be replacing a starter in 2014, while AU will likely have a returning starter (no senior QBs on the roster in 2013).

Do y'all feel like its all in for Harris or if things dont workout with him maybe the staff makes a push for Brandon Dawkins? If we don't land Harris I'd be happy not taking a QB this year with all the monsters at other positions this year. I trust the staff either way. Thoughts?

I think they definitely make a push for Dawkins if Harris goes elsewhere. If that fails, I wouldn't be surprised if they warmed up to someone like Donovan Isom as potential project or maybe revived their interest in Chase Litton. I just don't see this class not having a QB in it at all.

It definitely seems like Dawkins is the backup plan if we don't land Harris.
