Lane knows he can't land an Entitled premier qurarterback for LSU. He is simple going thur the motions. He will land a very talented young man that wants to be at LSU. He more than likely knows who that young man is. Only my opinion..

So.. we just whiffed on Chambliss, were outbid on Sorbsy, pivoted from Leavitt for Demond with a major PR failure, hosted Clark and now Husan (after he just hit the market mind you) just for shits and giggles as some kinda diverson and Lane has a darkhorse waiting in the wings?

I’m going to go the opposite direction and say he lands Leavitt or the kid from USC and then convinces Clark to come in, battle for the starting job and then be the starter in waiting if he doesn’t win the job. He will then be the LSU starter for 1-2 years.
