Listed where? The link to Hudl lists him at 5-11, 290. Doesn't change his game or make him less impressive, but 5-11 is not 5-9.
Jersey #: 92
Positions: DT, FB
Height & Weight: 5'11" 290lbs
40 Yard Dash: 5.1
Shuttle: 4.7
Vertical: 25
Bench: 340
Squat(LBS): 550

Trust me he’s closer to 5’9 than 5’11, listed in his 24/7 page and roster.

Should definitely get a chance to play. I'd take him just because I'd never have to worry about his motor. A guy who has been told he's too short his whole laugh has the opposite of Star-itus

Lack of desire and " help" from the Chief!

Kid will definitely bust his arse for whoever gives him a shot, he has a lot to prove.

He is 275 max probably closer to 265

yeah I never did very well at the carnival guessing weight so my career didn't last very long there and I went into emergency medicine. I was just going off of his 24/7 profile.
So being 5'9 275 as you say it's still impressive to watch the explosive first step and dominating much larger offensive lines.

Daylon Mack has short arms and has an issue shedding blockers. I like this kids film but you can see that could be an issue at the next level.

I wonder how he would look at FB after dropping around 30lbs

Reminds me of Brandon “Booger” Kennedy that play at The University of North Texas in the early 90’s. He was 5’10” 300 plus. And played exactly like this kid on the college level. He was definitely a fun one to watch.

That was the early 2000’s. But yes he plays very similar to Kennedy.

I knew it was the early 2000’s, but still typed 90’s...oh well.

Had to coach against this kid the last two years. He’s probably right at 5’9 280 but he’s put together very well and is insanely athletic. Last I heard Sam Houston State was the favorite to get him

Where do you coach ? Sam Houston State was the word around Aledo also.

I played with a guy this size in high school .he was a nose guard. His size with that low center of gravity could not be moved by a double team. He owned the middle. Didn't we let Lindsy Scott slip away because he was too short...
