If he didn't learn from his brother, then he needs some history lessons.

If I take that one quote in the context of the rest of what he said I “think” he means his recruitment is still open in the sense that he hasn’t signed and schools can still openly recruit him - not that he’s not 100% committed.

Although I wish a commitment would shut things down and not visit other schools I get it in the context of the kids’ ages and family background ($) in many cases. And it works both ways when kids committed to other schools visit LSU and listen.

The only real problem (not really) I have is his tweet of him in the aTm gear! C’mon, man! A generic announcement would’ve been nice!

Commitment does shut it down for players that know what the word means.

We're dealing with high school logic and poverty. Cant blame these kids for trying to make bank.

We really do have some of the dumbest fricking fans in all of college football.

If you don't know what the frick you're talking about, it's best not to open your mouth on a public forum.

I'm shocked you have so few downvotes actually. Dumbass.

They’ve already offered his brother

Out of state schools have the luxury of offering 8th graders and pulling that offer if the kid doesn't pan out by the time he's a junior.

However if LSU were to offer Dylan and Keylans little brother too early, then pull that offer there would be hard feelings.

This is the exact reason why a vast majority of instate kids don't get am offer until they've camped as at least a sophomore, usually.

Our staff cares a great deal about maintaining good relationships with the local high-school coaches, and there's no better way to cause friction than to offer an in-state kid too early then pull that offer.

Aggie sites aren’t even mentioning about the visit. It’s set up for the younger brother.

I read that On3 just posted an article that said A&M is on the same level as LSU?

First of all, I will take the kid at his word and believe he's already committed to the school he intends to play for.

But if some want to play Devil's Advocate just for S&G...... Is winning a title one of his ambitions in college? If so, LSU's program is certainly a proven commodity. A&M's program is certainly a proven flop.

If you had told me a month or tow ago he would even consider tripping to another school, especially aTm, I think I would call it total BS. And yet, here we are. Makes me suspect of any and all recruiting news.

I'm seriously sad about this...

He’s likely getting paid to take trips. I’d find that hard to pass up, too.

Same... my mindset would be "LSU is offering to pay me this and I'm good at that number. I'm not going to see that money until I sign the dotted line. Why not have other schools pay me while I'm going through the process. It's just extra money at this point".

I agree with this

But for a kid who has been outspoken as wanting to be the big recruiter for this class, don’t like seeing him retweet guys saying “I wouldn’t mind leaving the boot”

Gotta remember he’s 17. None of them know what they want or what they are doing
