What are you talking about? Bech was the second best receiver behind Nabors in that class. Not athlete but second best Wide Receiver. Don’t forget how dependable he was his freshman year. Put him in there for lacy and you may have had better results on offense.

nope, pretty sure he was going to Kansas. He wanted to play basketball too. And his offers in basketball were complete arse, but schools like Mich St and Kansas were alluring to him due to being able to walk on to elite basketball programs.

There's no reason you couldn't have taken both Bech and Coleman for the 2021 class. That's just a miss to not get Coleman.
Some people have a hang-up on players who can do both.
The basketball-football skill set works. You can come up with a good list of players who did both and/or went from college basketball to thriving in the NFL.

with hindsight it was a mistake. Thats how recruiting goes though, pretty sure no one was saying he was a 5 star cant miss 1st round draft pick coming out of highschool.
