Everyone's favorite "should we have" balled out last night for the Vikings with a quadruple double.

41 points
15 boards
13 assists
10 steals

Michigan State bound, for those who did not know.

A quad double is certainly an incredible accomplishment. But who are the Vikings and who were the competition?

Keon has enough bball talent to be one-and-done for the NBA. He's the real deal.

I think he should focus 100% on basketball, but I'm just a random dude on TD!

Does the competition really matter when your talking about a quad double?

You have to basically be in on every significant play on a game to get that. That’s crazy level shite. I wish he’d stay home, but based on what I’ve become a accustomed to seeing at LSU, he’s probably end up staking 20 three-point shots a game with 30% accuracy and play no defense.

Lol you very clearly don’t have a good calibration of the level that one-and-done guys are on. He’s certainly not a top 10-15 basketball player in his class

He signed for football which makes it awfully tough to show up in December/Jan and compete in basketball at a school like that.

Yes smart arse. It really does matter. It makes it even that much more impressive if against a quality opponent.

And perhaps you glossed over my first statement.

I kid you not, I seen a guy go from the 3rd option on a 3A team to averaging over 30 a game in class C. Competition absolutely matters.

Yep, he didn't for sure sign with State for basketball alone. He signed as a football player who will give basketball a shot. This very rarely works out and for sure much harder at a basketball school like State.

Would have liked to see him in p&g. I've seen the kid play a few times, he is super talented.
But whatever the reason the Tigers weren't interested

Unsure of how good they are now, but when I went there we had a really good team. We also had a coach (Todd Russ) that should've been at the collegiate level before he ever stepped foot on AC's shite hole campus though.

edit: I just looked coach Todd up, turns out he's the coach at New Iberia High School now. He originally left AC for Centenery College in Shreveport.

His basketball offers say otherwise

ULL was his best offer for a while

Evidently, he is talented but to get 10 steals he must have been playing against poor talent
