This just sucks! these guys prob could have have the chance to contribute in another D1 school. I know Bell ultimately made the decision to sign but you have to wonder what kind of mind games Saban is playing w/ these greenhorns. Most of them prob don't know who to believe.

quit downing saban. Those kids see the roster and who is currently signed with the program before they make their decision. Kenny Bell had all year to make his decision. If you are good enough to see the field, you will see the field.

Not every coach pulls this shite. I know this was debated ad nausium in an earlier thread bout Nutt and Saban. I know when I was 17-18yo I would not have been able to tell if experienced adult was lying to me or not and I seriously doubt anybody on this board would have either. We don't know what kind of parental support Bell has... could suck like a lot of these kids!

Saban's job is to run his football team to the best of his ability. Kenny Bell's job during the recruiting process was to make the best decision possible for himself. If he had no help, I feel for him, however it shouldn't be too hard to look at a depth chart.

If Nick Saban hung the bait in the water, and Kenny Bell was too stupid to see the hook and the line and bit, then shame on Kenny Bell for biting and getting caught.

You guys are speculating way too much on this one.
This kid was not in the most enviable of positions. I'm fairly certain that the staff was indifferent on his choice and didn't show him near the attention as the process continued.
I hope things work out for him and you guys need to realize his situation has no similarity to some of the others that deserve a true bashing.

Well BOL did an update with Bell a couple of weeks ago and he didn't seem to be pissed about anything then. It is from May 5th and if you have a Rivals account you should be able to read it.
