Im guessing he is Erick Reid's younger brother but do you think we offer? He has good size like his brother maybe not as big but worth looking into. 247

Offers from Yale and Brown? Nice priorities.

Might end up as big as brother after senior year around 6'1 200Lbs, I like to see family traditions continue at LSU, especially with how good he brother was for us.

Yeah it would be nice to see him roaming the field like eric did. this would be a perfect situation for him no need to be the man just sit and learn. and when he is ready he could be counted on to play and not be compared to what his brother did as a freshmen or sophomore

Yeah, I wouldn't blame the kid for taking offers from Yale or Brown

I don't what you guys are calling offers but the Ivy League doesn't have athletic scholarships or merit based scholarships.

They get scholarships in the Ivy League. They just don't call them athletic scholarships.

Ivy League schools do NOT offer athletic, academic or any such scholarships based on "merit". Prospective students may earn private merit-based scholarships that can be applied towards Ivy League tuition, etc. However, the only financial aid that Ivy League schools directly offer are "need based".

So, Bartow came out with an article on him a few days back.

Reid will be on team Apocalypse at the opening and will be interesting to watch.

Barton seems to think Reid is one of the bigger sleepers in this class...

quote:

Sleeper: Justin Reid. This kid has it all: great film, good size, athleticism, grades, bloodlines (younger brother of Eric Reid). After The Opening he’ll be a national name.
