He was a 4 year player and his brother was a top LA croot last year. I'm no member of Team Sweep, but I have zero problem with him being there as a counselor. These kids grew up watching JJ when they were probably idolizing college football and LSU in particular.

I wish the board would understand stuff happens that doesn't go public. like silents, promises, etc.

Anyone that has been following recruiting for a while knows this. Some of us also know that promises are hardly a guarantee.

But I am still with you Memphis and agree.

I've already signed up for the free trial, but for some reason, I can only read the articles. When I go to the message board for tidbits, it still says I need to activate now to read them. Any suggestions?? Thanks

That and you have to sign up for the specific geaux247 account. Not a general 247 account.

Keep him away from fried seafood joints and Roy Williams and we'll be fine.

You've had your account long enough for all access.

I posted this in another thread, but I will post it here in hopes a recruit will read it, because its the truth. It has to do with the perception of our oline coaching. Which is false:::

We simply have not had the talent on the oline people think we have. Hurst, lonergran were middle pack 3 stars coming out. Ranked anywhere to low 30's to mid 60's at their position. Faulk was top 10 and would have been a 1st rounder if he stayed healthy.

This year our oline will be the best in the miles era. La'el, Alexander, turner were all top 10 recruits at their position.

Barksdale, Blackwell, davenport were all dlinemen. We had some highly rated guys jump ship in 07, we are just now recovering. But we absolutley need some great tackles for pass protection. We have pocic, and la'el. But cam rob would be crucial. I mean, it is what it is. Now Bama for example should have a steady stream of oline in the first and second round with how they are recruiting. But well, they haven't. And they have kicked our arse in oline recruiting, yet ours is considered on par with bamas for the most part. We have road graders and maulers for days, we need athletic freakish tackles!!!!

Talking to you cam
