He probably would've been utilized nicely in Kiffin's offense. They must've told him something he didn't like or he got a bigger bag somewhere else. Seems kinda reactionary being under a great offense mind like Kiffin.

Hopefully this is good news for us in portal. I'd love to see that Duke RB hit the portal and us snag him.

Best move he could’ve made honestly. Don’t think he’d see the field much going forward.

Didn’t he project to be a Safety and was moved to WR then RB because of a stack of untimely injuries? Kind of reminds me of what Russell Shepard went through. Shepard had less than a stellar NFL career, but he did play long enough to earn NFL lifetime health benefits and a retirement pension. Shep played about 4-5 years. I’d have to think Coach Baker would recruit him back to defense if he thought he legitimately could play safety. I saw his comment on social media about playing QB, but surely he knows there is levels to this and he’s not on that level to play QB in the SEC. I know he put up sick passing stats at LCA, but that’s high school small classification ball not minor league SEC pro ball.

So I guess we'll have a walk-on as backup QB for the bowl game.

Juju was always willing to do what this team needed. That’s a true tiger right there, respect, reminds me of Jontre. A lot of guys would have quit having their position changed so frequently.

We gave him every opportunity we had and he gave us everything he had. Best of luck to him.

Honestly doesn’t seem like a loss to me. He was very average imo. I know he was all world in high school. It’s also possible he wasn’t used in the best way. But when he got the ball in his hands there wasn’t much break away speed or any type of breaking tackles that was going on. Wish him the best

this is horse shite. You don't enter the portal and leave LSU if you're a TRUE tiger.

Seems like a great kid and wasn't utilized well, but let's not talk about loyalty to LSU when a kid is quick to go elsewhere.

From what many people who saw him play QB in HS, he isn't good enough for major college football. But like you, I would have loved to have seen him in the bowl game to judge for myself. He was certainly not given a chance to play QB in a game although I assume in practice they saw some things they didn't like.

I know he was fun to play with on NCAA

It’ll be fun to see where he lands. Louisiana Legend so have to track him!

He was a third option back who averaged 4 YPC and had the longest run this season. He also ha the most catches of any non-receiver/TE.

Given the offensive woes and how he was used, I'd say he was better than average, though not great by any stretch.

Drurham - 106 carries, 505 yards, 4.8 YPC, long of 51 yards, 3 TDs

Berry - 101 carries, 446 yards, 4.4 YPC, long of 43 yards, 2 TDs

Johnson - 38 carries, 151 yards, 4.0 YPC, long of 56 yards, 2 TDs

Hate to say this but my understanding was he was paid to play hs ball.

Hope he’s not just looking for another bag.
