I've just heard he doesn't want to play center.

Yeah he has zero future at the 5... I am sure he wants to play at the 4 and I do not blame him one bit.

Wow. If there's anyone who has the natural body type to be a center, it's O'Bryant. Crazy to think a guy like that wants to play the 4, especially in college, where most 4's are 6'8", 220 pounds.
I disagree. O'Bryant is a prototype 4 IMO.

No mention of anyone signing. Only thing he said is that he has spent time with Malik Morgan. He said he has bee a one man recking crew recruiting since he got the job.

Time to watch the tweets, he may tell one of the writers in the one-on-ones who the signee is.

LE, i think it was in hopes of turning Gathers late. Also, to show we want local kids to come play at LSU.

At least that's what i've gathered.

Why not? He can add a physical presence at guard that can penetrate and defend.

I had to listen to the Presser. Which players were there? I really hope the players heard that press conference.

He is just an average player at best.

Average-at-best is better than an empty seat on the bench for two years.

YEah I think people need to realize we need bodies more than anything right now. TJ left us in really bad shape, as bad of shape as we were in after his 1st season here. We have 7 returning scholarship players with JHam leaving and TJ had ONE guy coming in for next season. We can't go through another season with almost zero relief off the bench.

One of the LSU student media guys tweeted that Ludwig was not there. That doesn't mean anything, though. Could have had class or a prior obligation.

+10000000000000

I don't see any uber talented high school kids flocking to fill these scholarships.

Swilling would be a servicable player.

LINK

He average 12 ppg last year in JUCO, and shot 40 pct from the field and 75% from the line.

From what I saw on the youtube clips of Swilling he looks like a decent player. Pretty nice stroke and decent size for G.

If we can get Swilling, Hammink, and Coleman and also add a JUCO big that would be a nice first class along with Morgan considering everything.

And that was at one of the top JUCO's in the country. The entire starting lineup averaged double figures and will all be playing D1.
