as much as i want it to be gathers, it sounds like it will be swilling. His comments on twitter make it seem like he is already a part of the team

Without mentioning Gathers name, Jones confirmed it's not him on Jordy's show. Gathers will sign with Baylor today.
Jones made it sound like signed letters (2) would be in prior to news conference - I'm guessing one is Coleman. Another could be Hammick.

Sounds like it should be Swilling.
He put up good numbers at a very good JUCO program last year, but his stats suggest poor shot selection and it doesn't seem like his intangibles are great. At least he will give us more height in the backcourt than two 5'10" guys.

Apparently, Jorday is just saying there will be a signee. Not saying who it is. I am holding out ZERO hope for Gathers. I just don't think there is any way.

I think realistically we can close out with Hamminck, Swilling, and Coleman. Unfortunately, that doesn't help the frontline at all, where we are losing our 3 of our top 4 guys.
We are going to have to go with a 4-out, 1-in offense, which requires great shooting.

I don't think Pelle is coming so we would have to go the JUCO route to get a big. I don't any good recruiting services when it comes to rating JUCO players, but maybe we can snag someone.

I have no doubt that at least one juco post player will be signed, maybe two. There are a few bodies out there. No stars, but at least Malcolm White level.
We have to have a center. If we don't have a center for next year, I predict JOB will leave. Even if he stays, with no other post players he will be ineffective.

I don't mind all the wings if we play a lot of Nolan richardsons 40 mins of hell defense. Having rested legs will be critical to press and run in transition
