I don't know, I think Cain wants to see how the LSU offense looks before pulling the trigger.

Nope. Cain is a take, so when he commits we'll take it.

Just saying, I think Emery commits before Cain.

Emery vs. Cain ? I want the kid who plans on winning a NC at LSU, and dreamed about carrying the rock in TS on Saturday nights. Not someone who is on the fence and not 100 % committed to being a Tiger for life. Each recruit has the opportunity to be the next Kevin Faulk or Travis Etienne.

Either would be amazing. Emery has elite athleticism, but I absolutely am in love with Cain’s vision, patience, and ability to set up defenders into his blockers, which is often an overlooked quality in a running back. I think Cain’s probably the best at it in the whole class.

Anyways. Home run for LSU with either of these kids.

Call me crazy, but the first time I saw Cain, his highlights and running style reminded me of Le’Veon Bell.

And if you recall, Bell ran a 4.60 at the combine so while Cain is not an elite speed merchant like Emery, there’s something to be said for back that “only” possesses vision/balance/break-tackle ability/change-of-direction.

Let’s not be greedy- but let’s plan on getting all three.

This. Cain has patience to let his blocks set up that you don’t typically see in young running backs. His running style is very similar to Bell.
