I admire Saban for being completely honest with LF.

What he's saying is that at your position, we have depth and players there already but you're such a talent, that we want you and believe if you're as good as we think you are, you'll play.

Best way to win at recruiting against Bama is to beat them bad on the field and show which program has better team. It can be done we just got to do it.

Exactly! Les and the Tigers need to royally kick Satan's and the Elephants' asses about 3 years in a row and dispense with this bull. Stomping a mud hole in them will solve all of our problems. And I do not want Satan to leave Bama. I want Les to exact revenge against him.

Just to let you know Leonard Fournette is a day 1 starter anywhere in the country save UGA.

...and Alabama, and LSU if Jeremy Hill stays. There's a lot more to being a starter in the SEC than being a talented runner, let's not kid ourselves. A freshman Fournette isn't more game ready in week one next year (or next year at all IMO) than 3rd and 4th year out of high school Yeldon and Hill, who are amazing in their own right. It's really easy to get caught up in the flavor of the week as the next hall of famer, but he isn't passing up a healthy and trouble free Yeldon or Hill on the depth chart.

May he get 40-50% of the carries at either place? Absolutely. May he get 80-90% of the carries at either place? Absolutely not. I think he's talented enough to step right into the "other" RB role and contribute from day one and gain equal carries at either school. He is not, however, so talented to keep two studs on the bench next year as a true freshman. I understand hill could go pro, but that is speculation at this point.

And schad is partially right (an upgrade for him) We've got 4 immensely talented freshmen running backs at Alabama. Not one of them has proven a damn thing yet in college. I've seen too many high school all stars bust in this league to crown anyone yet.

That has a 0% chance of happening. Just like Honey Badger last year, he needs to get the hell out of Baton Rouge for his own sake. After this year, it'll probably be Fournette, Magee and Sione. Fournette would get about 80% of the carries here. They've set it up like that on purpose.

Heard from st aug alum today that LF is wanting to go to Alabama, is waiting till last minute to make this said. LF said to him the last three RBs to get drafted high was from Alabama.

Heard the exact opposite from a St Aug alum last week.

But the most productive starters are Stevan Ridley (LSU) and Trent Richardson (UA) so far. Ingram is not doing so well.

If LF would do this to the staff that would make him LC x's Infiniti. We wouldn't have an opportunity to put any kind of a back-up plan into motion and would end up with a backfield that consists of Boo, Magee, Hilliard and Brazil. Anyway, this has very little to no chance of happening and I think your "source is full of shite to say the very least. LF wouldn't do that to Frank.
ETA: also, everyone who has ever graced St. Aug's campus will chime in before its all said and done. We have a few St. Aug alumni on this board. If they were to start saying shite like this then maybe I'd be a little concerned, but the fact that St. Aug's crossing guard told you that LF is off to bama won't lose me any sleep.

That's USC, and Kiffen isn't going to make it to the end of the season.
This may not necessarily be a good thing. I have to believe SC will get a very high profile Coach capable of attracting big time talent.
Be careful what you wish for.

Well, they would have to build a relationship in a few weeks time. Kiffen probably makes it to the end of the year and is fired after the bowl game. So, the new coaching staff wouldn't even be in place to try and recruit LF.
