Most of the LSU insiders and analyst agree to this finish. Would be a really nice way to wrap up this class!

The more I scour all the sites the more confidence is growing in us landing Chase. I think his official visit may push us over the top.

We started this class with the beef. If we finish with some big time skill position guys it will be awesome.
Although the negative O crowd will still have something to cry about if a QB isn't signed. Of course, they will find something regardless.

We have 18 signed with two more expected before the weekend. That’s 20, plus maybe the safety. It looks like we will have either 4 or 5 spots left, but he is predicting 6 more. What am I missing?

Penrod.
The 18 is counting the kicker but he may not have to be counted since he is a graduate transfer.
I would be extremely happy with that finish.
My dream list would be the same but substitute Foster into Joiners spot.

all depends on if the K counts toward the 25 per year. If not, 17 now w 1 signing today and (hopefully) 2 tomorrow. That would put LSU at 20 with Marshall included. He is one of the 6 in article by Jimmy.

I had heard earlier that our staff thinks that Chase will end up in this wr class.
They want 4 total wr in this class.
So it will be 2 out of Marshall; Chase; Watkins; Keys; and P. Williams.

Pirate - I understand your opinion but we will just have to agree to disagree.
From what I have heard McMillan will graduate and transfer and in my opinion starting the season with only 2 scholarship QB on the roster is a large risk.
Whoever loses the QB competition could also potentially transfer out which would leave us with only 1 scholarship QB on the roster.
Our need at RB is serious also but imo I feel that Curry is being undervalued by some on this board. I would take Joiner over Provens if it was me making the choice but Provens is in.
This is all just my opinion.

That is why I enjoy discussing recruiting.

We need both. Guess we did not find a QB worth offering that wanted to come to LSU. Narcisse is a full grown man. Hope his knees are better than before injury. All it takes is a couple of freak injuries and we will be down to Justin M.

Would be a great finish, if Joiner doesn't come board, probably consider Michael Williams for that last spot.
